So as winter approaches I must think about what can be done this year in preparation for the garden to get a good start next year.
As we've been forecast a harder winter than last year (some how??) there is a benefit to the this as I'll be digging the soil up soon and hard winter frosts will help to break the soil that has been un used for years. This helps with drainage and also makes it easier to add in that lovely nutrient rich compost I'vve been working on!
On the food front its time to think about the everything to hearty, warming soups and the biggest plateful of food of the year, Christmas Dinner! I'll update you on my ideas for this soon!
